Professional movements in building materials industry

Building materials industry is slowly recovering from lockdown blues and also the professional movement in the industry has started picking up in tandem. Here are some professional movements in building materials (and related products) industry in recent weeks.

Dr Kumar Hemant is now VP Sales (Country Head) at Laxmi Doors, a JSV group company. He will be responsible for expansion of dealer/distributor network, arranging stakeholders meeting, project handling, etc. Dr Kumar is joining the new company after 11 years of long stint at Merino group. Dr Kumar has done MBA in sales and marketing from Magadh University.

Mudit Bansal is the new National Sales Manager at British Paints. Mudit has 18 years of experience of working in well reputed brands including Asian Paints and HSIL. Mudit has cross functional exposure in planning, market penetration, product management, key account management with skills in P & L management and competitor / market analysis.  Mudit is a commerce graduate from Shri Ram College of Commerce and has done his MBA from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade.

Rajani Kesari is now CFO at Ambuja Cements Ltd and LafargeHolcim -India. Earlier she was the CFO at ACC Ltd, another LafargeHolcim group company. Rajani is also the member of Board of Directors at Thermax Ltd. Rajani is an experienced CFO with a global profile and demonstrated history of partnering with business to deliver growth and profitability. Rajani is Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant and also a Certified Public Accountant.

Satish Gupta has joined Asian Paints as the State Head. He will be responsible for driving and building strength for Asian Paints’ Bath Division in defined geography with team by creating, nurturing & managing dealer and distributor networks. In the past Satish has worked with brands like H & R Johnson, Century Plyboards and Ceasefire Industries. Satish is an MBA from Savitribai Phule Pune University.

Sonal Shrivastava is now Regional CFO – APAC at LafargeHolcim. Sonal has more than 25 years of experience in Finance and Strategy. Sonal has professional experience in Finance, M&A, capital market fund raising, strategy & business development, structuring, internal audit, operational finance, tax. Sonal is B.E. in Chemical Engineering from Vinoba Bhave University and has done MBA in Finance from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai.
