Non-compliant Greater Noida builders summoned for meeting -min
As there are still many builders who have not yet submitted their project details to the auditing agency the Greater Noida authority has called a meeting of such builders. It is said that seven of 25 builders in Greater Noida are yet to furnish their project details to the auditing agency. Meeting has been called to find out reasons from these builders for not giving the details of their projects.
It may be recalled here that on September 12, Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath had directed the chief executive officers of Noida, Greater Noida and Yamuna Expressway authorities to audit builders who have failed to deliver flats to homebuyers. The Noida authority had then asked 14 builders to provide all details to Currie & Brown, a private international consultancy firm which was hired to audit builders’ accounts to check funds diversion. The Greater Noida authority too has hired the same agency as Noida — Currie & Brown — for the audit, on homebuyers’ demand.
After receiving the report from the auditors for these 25 developers, authorities will prepare the next list for audit by the firm, Currie & Brown. There are 203 realty projects in Greater Noida, of which around 80 are in a critical state.
