Belagavi Smart City Ltd is planning to develop multi-activity park and heritage park in the city to make them a tourism destination. First, the Consultant appointed by the BSCL will study the feasibility of implementing the water park, water sports activities, theme park, adventure park, heritage village, health resorts, etc. BSCL is currently assessing the project development expenses and sources of funds to meet the expenses.
However, the cost of the project has not yet been estimated as various components of the projects are yet to be studied and analysed.
BSCL wants to fast track the project. Once the consultant for the project is finalised, concept report will be prepared which will have to be ready by within 8 days. And the DPR will have to be prepared within 8 weeks of the appointment of the consultant. If everything goes as per plan, work on the project is expected to start in the beginning of the new financial year.
