Tell us about your company and some of the products offered by you? Which product has received wider acceptance and showing higher growth?

Our company Anusha Technovision Pvt Ltd. (ATPL) offers a one stop solution for automation in a home, hotels and  corporate offices. In homes, we offer lighting controls from Lutron USA, Automation from Crestron USA and array of audio, video  and security solutions. From designing of automation systems to installation and commissioning, we offer the complete turnkey solutions.

The Lighting controls and Shading systems have experienced a tremendous growth in the last decade.

How is Indian market evolving for home automation products? Whether home automation is considered as luxury? Tell us some of the projects where your systems have been installed?

The good news is that the home automation market is no longer restricted to a few homes in major metros. The wider acceptance of automation in a home, primarily because of the positive experience of the people who have used it over the last decade, has resulted in a whole new industry. As a company, we have primarily focused on individual bungalows and houses in the 3 metros of Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore through our 3 offices. Now we intend to go to tier 2 cities as there is a vast market there and less competition.

Every city is now aiming to become a ‘smart city’. How your company can contribute to the growth of smart cities in the country.

As we do automation for more homes in cities like Dehradun, Jaipur, Ludhiana, Hyderabad, Srinagar, in addition to the metros, the awareness of the use of technology to have access to entertainment, convenience and energy saving increases.

Demonetization and RERA have affected the real estate industry. Whether slowdown in real estate sector has affected your business too?

Thankfully not. Primarily because we are not majorly dependent upon the “Builder” segment for business. Our business is more driven by individual owners and also hotels and corporate offices.

The concept of affordable housing is gaining weight nowadays. Whether affordability can go hand in hand with home automation?

We are unfortunately not yet there – when it comes to catering to automation for affordable housing. It is still considered a rich man’s luxury.

How can your products contribute to greener environment?

A lot of our products contribute to saving energy. Dimmers save energy in direct proportion to the lowering of light level. We use Occupancy sensors and day light sensors to maximize the use of natural light in commercial and corporate offices. In homes, bathrooms, pantry areas are some of the areas that are invariably fitted with sensors that switch off lighting and ac in the rooms.

What are your future plans?

We have been in the industry for 15 years and are one of the oldest companies in this field. Our aim is Growth – through expansion in manpower, increasing presencer geographically in more areas, and also in the product range offering to customers.
