Stylam, a leading laminates manufacturer, is planning to adopt aggressive marketing strategy both in domestic as well as global market. The company which has Asia’s largest laminates manufacturing plant with best-in-class machinery to manufacture 1,200+ designs, 120+ textures and finishes of laminates, will further penetrate the domestic market by doubling its marketing team and scaling up its distribution network.
On the export front, the company is planning to explore new geographies. It aims to further strengthen its hold in the Middle East and enter the US and Canadian markets in the current financial year. Exports account for 60-65% of revenues as the company enjoys strong brand loyalty in export markets. It has a dedicated distributor in Thailand and plans to tap markets in the Far East.
Stylam has setup a hot-coating process machine that can manufacture high-quality, high gloss, anti-fingerprint laminates with thickness of 0.8mm-1mm at a capex of Rs25 crore to produce 230,000 sheets annually. Commercial production has started and the company is servicing clients in Europe and Israel.
Stylam is also planning to install a short-cycle press machine to introduce a laminated version of MDF in the second half of current financial year, which will be treated in the hot-coating process machine to make the exterior surface either anti-fingerprint or ultra-glossy.
