H & R Johnson (India), one of the leading ceramics producers in India, has launched new and innovative range of premium sanitaryware and faucets – Johnson International. H & R Johnson (India), a division of Prism Johnson, was focusing more on mod and lower segment of the sanitaryware market till now.
Most of the ceramic tiles manufacturers have started give increased emphasis to sanitaryware products in recent years due to intense competition in tiles segment which in turn is due to rapid expansion of manufacturing capacity. Also, sanitaryware segment has been registering attractive growth rate quarter after quarter which has encouraged many new players to enter the market while existing players expanding their reach by entering tier II and III cities.
Speaking on the occasion, Sarat Chandak, ED and CEO of H & R Johnson (India) Division of Prism Johnson Ltd said,
